PENNANT tennis got started again on Saturday for the Division 3 and junior sides, Division 1 having to wait another week as they had the bye.

Division 3 had a close match against Barham with Barham men up 30 games to 19. The Cohuna ladies came out on top 25 games to 23, each team winning three sets.

The mixed was very close with each team winning two sets and 21 games. Barham ended up winning 74 games to 65 by 9 games.

The junior team had a hard day against a more experienced Gunbower side. They also had a player injury during the match which resulted in them forfeiting a set. The final score was 36 games to 14 in Gunbower’s favour.

Division 1 v Barham (at Barham): Harrison Cleave, Jason Hensley, Paul Lacy; Shirlene Barker, Mary Rodwell, Skye Perry.

Division 3 v Kerang White (at Kerang): Zephan Hensley, Cooper Lacy, Lachlan Farrell, Sarosh Sajeev, emergency Taylor Lacy. Leah Lacy, Clare Modra, Deanne Ford, Kara Farrell.

Juniors v Barham (at Barham): Sharon Sajeev, Jack Pollock, Jackson Lacy, Archer Lacy.

Twilight tennis will be commencing on Tuesday, January 31 for anyone interested in social tennis. Names of pairs or single entries to Mary on 5456 2384.
